About Me
Oh, hai.
I'm Miranda, and well, in case you couldn't tell, I have purple hair. But that's not really what this blog is about, no. This blog is about sewing, quilting, small business, and adventures. Some of those adventures are yours, most of them are mine, but either way, I do hope they help light a fire for curiosity.
I live out in the country with my partner (Mr. Man), three little ones under five, a flock of chickens named The Golden Girls, and a Betta fish named Max. It's loud, it's messy, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Small Business Advice
Turning a crafting hobby into something more can feel overwhelming — I've been there. On the blog I share what I've learned about building a small creative business, from finding your voice to navigating the practical side of selling handmade goods. I'm not an expert, just someone who's figuring it out as she goes and wants to pass along what's worked.
Oh, right! The Sewing!
Sewing has been part of my life for the better part of, well, my life. I'm on a mission to sew ALL THE THINGS. You'll find tutorials here — like the easy yoga waistband — plus honest pattern reviews and peeks at fabrics I'm excited about. I love bright, whimsical projects that bring a little joy into everyday life.
Life is hard, man.
I started this blog as a creative outlet, a way to push past anxiety and connect with people who get it. Putting yourself out there is scary, but the sewing community has been incredibly kind. If you're shy, nervous, or just looking for a place where it's okay to be a little weird, you're in good company.

This space exists because of readers like you. I love hearing your stories, your project wins, and yes — your puns and dad jokes. You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter. Come say hi!
