Quiltastic Shopapalooza shop hop

I’ll be heading to Quiltcon East in Savannah, Ga. this year with my t-shirt business, Handmade Rebellion. We’ll have a booth (Booth 243, come check it out!) and a photo op, I’ll be the pregnant one with purple hair (d’uh)!  In case that wasn’t enough, I’ll also be running the modern shop hop, Quiltastic Shopapalooza!

Gah! I’m SO EXCITED to bring this to you guys! My dream is that there will be lots of laughing, hand holding, and frolicking along the show room floor passports in hand. But in case that’s not your jam, I’ll settle for some smiles and a high five.

Quiltastic Shopapalooza Passport

So what exactly is Quiltastic Shopapalooza? It’s a fun, interactive way to visit great shops, meet new people, and have a chance to win some awesome prizes! Each participating shop has a stack of ‘passports’ that are totally FREE to hand out. All you have to do is visit (or ‘hop’) to each booth in the hop to get your passport stamped. While you’re there, be sure to check out what they have in store and tell them you’re happy they are in the hop!

Then, after you’ve chatted, mingled, and gotten your passport stamped at ALL the shops, just drop it off at your last stop and hope to win some amazing prizes! Make sure to write your contact info clearly, or I won’t be able to notify you if you’ve won, and that would suck.

So what are these fabulous prizes? Well to name a few:

  • An Oliso Iron
  • A Carolyn Friedlander Quilt Kit
  • Havel’s Sewing Gift Basket (with over $400 worth of stuff alone!)
  • Spoonflower Welcome Pack

Plus, tons of thread, charm packs, fabric, batting, and more! I went around asking the most trusted companies for the coolest stuff, and I must say, they definitely delivered! And the shops involved will also be contributing to the prize baskets as well. Needless to say, lots of fun is to be had!

Seriously, I can’t wait to nerd out with y’all and take a pic with my famous #QCSelfieStickPic!

Will you be at Quiltcon? What are you most excited to see or do there?

Sew it goes, Miranda
