Have you ever finished a quilt, and you’re getting ready to put the label on, but you realize there’s so much more you wanted to say than what can fit on that scrap of fabric? Maybe there was a song that inspired you or you just wanted to make sure your recipient knew how loved they are?
I really love craft swaps. Like, really love them. I would enter them all if I had limitless time and money! But, I don’t, so I try to pick only ones that I genuinely love and have time for. And when the #GalentinesDaySwap2017 came up, I knew I had to sign up. I’m all about women’s rights, empowering ladies, and honoring all things female, so it was a total no-brainer to enter this swap!
Y’know how I talked about my goals for 2017, and one of them was to FOCUS? Well, what better way to stay on track than with a planner! The Women’s March on Washington is happening on January 21, 2017 and to celebrate, people are knitting, crocheting, and sewing pink, cat inspired hats, affectionately known as Pussy Hats (read more about the #pussyhatproject here). Since I don’t knit or crochet (yet!), I thought getting a sewing tutorial would be a great way to include the fabric obsessed.
